Tackling Everyday Tests, Trials, and Troubles

Starting Every day off right begins with prayer. Although, as human beings we can “ask wrongly” (James 4:3 ESV) when it comes to prayer as our motives may be wrong, God promises to us the ability to overcome our sinful nature and take on His divine nature by the Holy Spirit (see 2 Peter 1:4). Indeed, God assures us daily personal victories through our prayer life declaring “…that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.” (1 John 5:14). So, how then can we pray the will of the Father rightly to obtain this victorious power? Praying in the Holy Spirit with Tongues is one means to pray the Father’s will effectively and receive His promise’s.

Why pray in the Holy Ghost with Tongues?

  • It Builds up Faith (Jude 1:20, 1 Corinthians 14:4)
  • It Confuses the Enemy (Romans 8:26, 27; Ephesians 6:18)
  • It Releases His Power into the Atmosphere (Mark 16:17, 20; Acts 1:8)

“So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.” (1 Corinthians 14:39) Are you coming daily into His presence with the language of Heaven upon your lips? Let us covenant together to not go another day without praying in the Holy Spirit with tongues, and in so doing we will tackle everyday tests and trials in the power and grace of the Holy Ghost. May the Love of the Father, the Grace of His Son, and the Fellowship of the Spirit be with you all. Amen.
