Daily Bible reading – 4/21

DailyPlan : esv-study-bible : 2012-04-21 #Bible http://j.mp/vI4xfM

As you read through today’s scriptures, I want to specifically draw your attention to verse 20 in galatians. “i have been crucified with Christ.” To be crucified defines someone who has borne a cross. Jesus spoke one day to the crowd around him and he told them that whoever desires to follow him must pick up their cross. The cross at times can be very heavy, it at times can be very humiliating, and even unbearable. Every true disciples must pick up their cross and on it be crucified, dieing to self in order to be alive in Christ; “it is no longer I that livery but Christ that liveth in me”.

I pray this will become your badge of honor today, “i have been crucified with Christ”.
