Our Old Fashion Tent Revival has concluded. Months of preparation and prayer have paved the way to what can only be described as a blessed experience with the Spirit of God. And although the tent is now down and the activities resumed to normality, what has happened to Bethesda Church of God and the surrounding area will never again be the same.
One of the most amazing thing which transpired over the course of the tent revival, which can only be attributed to the Holy Ghost, was that without any communication between the speakers, every message carried with it a similar exhortation. Pastor Brennan brought the word on Wednesday declaring that we need faith today to face our future. Then on Thursday as Pastor Champion delivered the message the word to the church was “But From Now On”. And on Friday Pastor Fleming preached with the question “God, What Now?”.
Clearly, the Holy Spirit was speaking to His church that this is just the beginning and that the future of the church is bright. From this point forward we can and must by faith anticipate greater things and ask God for the miraculous. Although we are a small church, God is ready and able to big things. This certainly wasn’t just another organized event but an orchestrated move of the Holy Ghost to build up faith for what is about to come. I pray that NOW God will begin to outpour the deluge of His Spirit and bring with Him a genuine REVIVAL!
