Fast is Over – Miracles and Provisions Begin

In the beginning of January, I asked our church to embark upon a 21 day journey with me for the year 2011. I emphasized a three-part promise which I believe came from God for this year: Preparation for the harvest, Provision in the harvest, and People of the Harvest. Meaning that if we would prepare for what God was going to do with a fast then God would provide for our needs and make us into people who reach other people and increase the body of Christ for His glory.

Well, at the end of January we,ve concluded our fast with a miracle service. At the service, I declared that God was going to do miracles in our lives and our church. We even went so far as to declare that we would be looking for it, whether in the mailbox or elsewhere. Praise God that He is still in the miracle working business. This week as we went to the mailbox, God had supernaturally put upon the heart of another church to send us a check.  It was exactly what we were needing as we were facing some serious financial decisions. Thank the Lord!

We prepared and now I truly believe that God is beginning to perform the 2nd piece of the harvest promise that He gave at the beginning of the year: “Provision in the Harvest“. As God continues to provide needs and perform miracles in this season of provision, I await and look forward to God faithfully performing the 3rd piece to the promise: “People of the Harvest“. And, of course, the culmination of the whole promise is the great harvest that is coming. Praise the Lord for what He is doing and Thank you Jesus for what you have done!
